1 unbaked pie shell 2 squares chocolate 2 tablespoons butter 3 eggs 1/2 cup sugar 3/4 cup dark corn syrup 3/4 cup pecan halves, chopped Powdered sugar

Use a double boiler in which to melt the chocolate and butter. Stir it to mix. In another bowl beat eggs and add sugar. Stir this into the chocolate mixture. Stir in the corn syrup and the nuts. Pour all this into the unbaked piecrust and bake about 40 minutes at 375 degrees. You can top this with a sprinkling of powdered sugar. The dessert is delicious warm or cold, and can also be topped with some ice cream. Readers with questions or comments for Dave Kessler may write to him in care of this publication.
