Skinny Cooks Can’t Be Trusted

Ingredients:

1 yellow cake mix with eggs, water & oil
Filling:
2 egg whites
1 t. vanilla
2 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 c. Crisco

Instructions:

This is Clara Frey’s recipe. She said to be sure to preheat oven and mix cake as directed on box. Bake in 12.5 x 17.5 pan until done. Cool.

Filling: Beat egg whites until stiff, add vanilla, powdered sugar and Crisco. Beat until creamy. Cut cake in half and spread filling on one half of cake and place the other half of the cake over the filling. The cake side that was against the pan should be on the outside. Cut into desired sized pieces and enjoy.
