Buttery Breadsticks
Cooking outdoors is a breeze

Ingredients:
14 Rhodes Dinner Rolls, thawed but still cold 1/3 cup butter, melted 1/2 cup parmesan cheese Garlic salt

Instructions:
Pour melted butter into a 12-inch Dutch oven. Roll each roll into a 7-inch rope. Roll in butter until completely coated. Place cheese in a bowl and roll buttered breadstick in cheese. Coil breadsticks end to end inside the Dutch oven, starting on the outside edge. Cover with lid and let rise until doubled in size. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

Fandangles

Make a cooking stick from two dowels. The large one has a 1 1/4-inch diameter and is cut in 6-inch lengths. Attach to this a narrow 1/2-inch dowel cut 24 inches long. Heavily coat the large dowel with cooking oil.

Cooking a Fandangle

Stretch a thawed Rhodes Texas Roll over the large dowel, keeping the end well-covered with dough. Cook over the campfire or coals about 20 minutes, turning often, until dough is cooked and browned. Let cool slightly and slide off the dowel. Fill with favorites, such as: Cooked sausage and scrambled eggs with salsa

Cooked hamburger and onions with ketchup

Baked beans and crisp bacon

Hot potato salad

Mixed fruit with whipped topping
