Decadent Cinnamon-Pecan Rolls

Ingredients:
1/3 c. chopped pecans, or substitute any other nuts
1/3 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 t. cinnamon
1 tube refrigerated crescent rolls
2 T. melted butter
1 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. orange marmalade
1/2 t. orange juice. (See substitutions below.)

Instructions:

Combine the pecans, brown sugar and cinnamon and mix well. Open the tube of crescent rolls and separate them where they’re perforated. Lay them out flat. Brush some of the melted butter on one side of each roll. Spoon on some of the pecan-brown sugar mixture. Roll them into crescent shapes.

The decadent icing is made by combining the powdered sugar, marmalade and orange juice. Stir it together well. You can substitute the orange juice by using the juice of Clementines or lemons.

Butter a baking sheet and bake the rolls at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. While the rolls are still warm brush or spoon some of the sugar topping on each.

These make the best warm treat and you can whip up a batch in a short period of time. They smell delicious while baking and taste delicious as long as they last. The only trouble with them is that a tube of crescent rolls only makes eight servings and they’ll disappear quickly.
