Illinois farmland auctions for $577K
OWENSBORO, Ky. — On Nov. 30, Kurtz Auction & Realty Company sold 150 acres in Gallatin County, Ill. The two tracts of mostly gently rolling cropland sold for $577,500 or $3,850 per acre.  The predominant soil types are Belknap and Uniontown Silt Loams.  There were no improvements on the property and no mineral rights involved in the sale.  The farm is located between Ridgway and Eldorado in southern Illinois and is five miles from a blacktop road.
