|RICHWOOD, Ohio — People came from far and wide to attend the May 20th auction ran by auctioneer Johnny Regula in Richwood, Ohio.
Regula said that he had bidders from eight states, including as far away as Louisiana and Alabama.

Estate auction draws crowd
ANDERSON, Ind. — Auctioneer Charles R. Breese said that more than 100 registered bidders braved a rainy day to attend a May 13th estate auction in Anderson, Ind.

Northern Indiana land sold
CHILI, Ind. — Halderman Real Estate Services, Inc. recently sold about 135 acres of land in northern Indiana for a total of $368,000.
The 135.6 acres were offered in seven tracts at auction on April 1 and included farmland, recreational land, building sites and a rural home. The land sold to five buyers.
Tracts 1 and 2 were purchased by a local investor for $130,000 or $2,338 per acre. Tract 1 included 27.6 acres of tillable land and Tract 2 included 28 acres, 27.6 acres of which were tillable.
Tract 3 included 34.5 acres (22.1 acres tillable, 1.2 acres CRP and 10 acres wooded) and sold to a local investor for $79,000 or $2,289 per acre.
Tract 4 was made up of 33 acres (22.5 acres tillable, 1.2 acres CRP and the balance in pastureland) and sold for $54,000 or $1,636 to a local investor.
Tracts 5 and 6 were purchased by a local investor for $30,000 or $3,750 per acre. The tracts consisted of four acres each that are potential building sites with river frontage.
Tract 7 included a 1,586 square foot home and outbuildings on 4.5 acres and sold to a local home investor for $75,000.
