SCI President Chris Jeffries said, “We’re a service oriented company. We created this position to improve distribution, flow of product through the process and seed quality.”

The new position demonstrates the commitment to the future of the company and the seed industry, Jeffries added.

Call grew up on a crop and livestock farm in Madison County. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Ohio State University with a major in Ag Systems Management and a minor in Ag Business.

Call spent the past eight years with AgriGold in seed sales. He resides in London with his wife and two children and has been a certified crop advisor since 2000.

Stiles to head the OAAE
FRAZEYSBURG, Ohio — Dave Stiles, an agricultural education teacher at Indian Valley High School, has been selected as president of the Ohio Association of Agricultural Educators (OAAE) for the upcoming year.

Stiles has been teaching agricultural education at Indian Valley High School for 25 years.

The OAAE is an organization that unites all agricultural education teachers through membership in a state organization devoted exclusively to their interests.

AGCO promotes DeCoster to vice president of customer support
DULUTH, Ga. — AGCO Corporation has appointed Gretchen DeCoster as vice president, customer support North America. DeCoster will be responsible for the North America Parts Division in Batavia, Ill. and Product Reliability located in Hesston, Kan. and Jackson, Minn.

She recently served as director of finance, North America and began her career with AGCO as controller, North America Parts Division in 1999, after serving as a district controller for Browning-Ferris Industries, where she worked closely with operations and sales. Prior to BFI, DeCoster was manager for financial reporting for Pepsi-Cola General Bottlers, Inc.

During her career with AGCO, she has been heavily involved in all facets of the Parts Division’s business activities. With an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and an MBA from DePaul University, she was selected for the Executive Management Program at Emory University in 2005.
