Feb. 8: Before Tennessee applicators can apply low-volatile versions of dicamba herbicide to a crop in 2018, they must first attend University of Tennessee Extension dicamba-specific training. Feb. 8: Farmers who want to pursue their dream of starting a food business can attend a Farmers Market Boot Camp in Shelbyville, Tenn. The workshops will be taught by specialists from the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture and are designed for farmers who want to direct market food at farmers’ markets, roadside stands, CSAs and U-pick operations.
