April 12-13: The latest developments in cattle breeding and synchronization will be highlighted at a Beef Cattle Reproductive Technologies workshop at the UOI Dixon Springs Agricultural Center in Pope County, Ill. April 28: For the second year, children will have the chance to learn about their pets and other animals at Petstravaganza at the UOI Stock Pavilion in Urbana, Ill. This year’s event will be from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and will feature interactive, family-friendly exhibits including exotic species and wildlife. April 13-14: The Indiana Sheep Assoc. will sponsor The Fiber Event at the Putnam County Fairgrounds in Greencastle, Ind., from 1-7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday.
