KNIGHTSTOWN, Ind. — Looking to buy a 1954 Farmall Super MTA? How about an Australian Shepherd puppy?

Subscribers to Farm World newspaper can visit www.farmworldonline.com and quickly search the current week’s classified ads, auction calendar and auction ads for a specific item of interest.

News articles on the website - containing the search word - also will be pulled up as part of the search.

Simply type in what you are looking for in the Site Search box on the website’s front page, click on “Go” and the website will organize the information into an easy-to-review listing.

Specific area searches

Visitors can also search a specific area on the Farm World website by using the “Search” box within the site.

Searchable areas include classified ads, auction ads, auction calendar, news articles and recipes.

For example, if a visitor is only interested in finding tractors at auctions within Indiana, he/she can go to the Auction Ads page, type in the keyword “tractors” and select “Indiana” from the State box and click on “Go.” The search will bring up only the auction ads meeting those criteria.

Search tips

Abbreviations often are used in Farm World advertisements - JD for John Deere or Int. for International.

When searching for items on the Farm World website, keep that in mind.
