Auction Report: Northern Indiana farmland sold at March 6 auction
WOODBURN, Ind. Halderman Real Estate Services, Inc. recently conducted a real estate auction of 99 acres in northern Indiana, which brought a total sale price of $380,000.

The March 6 auction featured 91.5 acres of tillable farmland (and 7.5 non-tillable acres) located east of Woodburn, Ind. in Allen County.

The land sold in one tract to a local farmer for $3,838 per acre. Halderman Real Estate Services, Inc. also recently sold 40 acres and several mobile homes at auction in Greene County, Ind. to three buyers for a total of $241,000.

The March 7 auction included some nice investment properties, including farmland, woods, a home and six mobile homes. The farmland and home is located outside of Linton, Ind. and the mobile homes are located inside of Linton.

The first parcel included the 40 acres (31 acres tillable and five wooded acres) and an 1,800 sq. ft. home on four acres. It sold to a local investment company for $210,000.

Three mobile homes on two city lots sold to a local investor for $16,000. The other three mobile homes on two city lots sold to a local investor for $15,000.
