10-year-old killed in fall from tractor

PERRINTON, Mich. (AP) — A 10-year-old boy died after he fell off a farm tractor in central Michigan, police said.
The incident happened in Fulton Township, the Gratiot County sheriff’s office said.
“A 10-year-old male had been riding on the fender of a farm tractor when it hit a bump and he fell from the fender and was subsequently run over by the tractor and the implement it was pulling,” the sheriff’s office said.
The child was pronounced dead at the scene, The Morning Sun reported.
A family member driving the tractor was not injured.
