Wicker, a Rushville FFA member selected for National FFA Band
 
Parker Wicker, of the Rushville (Indiana) FFA, has been selected to play baritone in the National FFA Band. He played publicly for the first time on Oct. 25, 2022, at the Indianapolis Artsgarden. Parker was selected from more than 50 other baritone players to represent the more than 800,000 FFA members; this is a great opportunity for Wicker to make lifetime memories. If you cannot attend any of his events, you can find him on RFD-TV.
When asked about participating in the National FFA band, Parker stated, “I think that music has a place everywhere, and I’m honored and excited for this opportunity.”
The National FFA Band is a great opportunity for students to get involved with the community. The band is a place where students learn discipline, leadership and teamwork skills. If you have a strong passion in music and marching, please contact bct@ffa.org for more information.
