COOK SIMPLY By Susan MYKRANTZ May is National Salad Month. And what better way to celebrate with fresh greens of all kinds available. And if you want to grow your own, the seed racks are full of all kinds of varieties of greens, even premixed packets of seeds. Once you have put together that mix of greens, the next step is to kick it up a notch with a tasty salad dressing. When you make your own salad dressing, you can control the level of sugar and salt in the dressing. An added benefit is the homemade dressings don’t have flavor enhancers and preservatives. This week Cook Simply features some of my favorite salad dressings. Enjoy and until next time, simply cook.
