Purdue Extension invites Indiana farmers and agricultural families to attend the virtual series of Farm Shield: Protecting Your Legacy from Life’s Uncertainties. Farm Shield offers practical tools and expert insights for navigating the complex challenges of succession, estate planning, and risk management in a virtual series.

Topics to be discussed at the Farm Shield conference include Estate & Succession Planning with a legal professional, Managing Financial Responsibility, Addressing Family Conflict, and Preparing for the Unexpected. Farm Shield is more than a conference, it’s a commitment to helping agricultural families build resilience and plan for a secure future.

Sessions will be held on Wednesday evenings from 7-8:30 p.m. (ET) throughout March 2026. Each week focuses on a critical component of managing and sustaining a family farming operation:

• March 4, 2026 – Preparing for the Unexpected

• March 11, 2026 – Estate & Succession Planning

• March 18, 2026 – Managing Financial Responsibility

• March 25, 2026 – Addressing Family Conflict
