Illinois export-import team back from Asian trade trip
Illinois Gov. Bruce Rauner and a contingent of 24 state officials wrapped up an export-import trade mission to Asia over the weekend with an agreement regarding biofuels development between Illinois’ largest university and a sister institution in China.
A contingent of agriculture representatives, including Kentucky Agriculture Commissioner Ryan Quarles, traveled to Japan from Sept. 3-8 as part of a U.S. Meat Export Federation (USMET) trade delegation to meet with buyers of U.S. pork and beef.
