No avian flu in Illinois yet, but state bans out-of-state poultry
Because of the avian influenza virus that has caused the deaths of more than 46 million birds nationwide to date, Illinois is banning all out-of-state poultry from exhibition or competition in its state, county, 4-H and FFA fairs until further notice.
