Rupp Seeds: Independent, family-owned and directed
Rupp Seeds was started 64 years ago. Rupp is an independent company in its third generation of family management and ownership. As an independent company, Rupp offers farmers the broadest genetic and technology corn and soybean lineup available. For vegetable growers, they represent all the leading breeders and seed producers in the market.

“Our purpose is to help farm families feed their friends and neighbors at home and around the world,” said owners Roger and Peggy Rupp.

But Roger and Peggy don’t do it on their own. They get plenty of help from Philip Rupp, President; John King, General Manager of the Grain and Forage Division; Gary Campbell, Dennis Steinke, Kurt Weber and Charlie Hilton, all District Sales Managers of the Grain and Forage Division, serving the states of Ohio, Michigan and Indiana; and Barry Rupp, Vegetable Consultant serving Michigan and Indiana.

Just what does Rupp have to offer? The best in seed genetics - hybrid seed corn (80-114 days) conventional and traits including Agrisure, Herculex and Genuity SmartStax; soybeans (1.7-3.5 maturity) Conventional, Roundup Ready, Genuity Roundup Ready 2 Yield and Liberty Link; private varieties of wheat; alfalfa; forage mixes; vegetable seeds; and conservation seed including native grasses, wildflowers, food plot mixes and turf and lawn grass.

Rupp Seeds is located in northwest Ohio, two miles south of Wauseon on State Route 108 and four miles west on County Road B. They’re open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Contact Rupp Seeds at 419-337-1841 or by e-mail info@ruppseeds.com
