| Lawn, garden tractors featured at Indiana antique machinery show |

EDINBURGH, Ind. — Can an antique tractor show get bigger and smaller at the same time?
Come and find out at the 19th annual Johnson County Antique Machinery Association Show on June 18, 19 and 20 at the Johnson County Park.
This year’s show will feature Case, Allis Chalmers and Rumely Tractors and Equipment, and also Indiana-built gas engines. But there is a new attraction this year. This is the first show to ever feature Lawn & Garden Collectors Magazine.
“We are hosting the Lawn & Garden Collectors Magazine Extravaganza,” said Dwayne Hansford, JCAMA show chairman. “This is looking like it could turn out to be our best show ever.”
LAGC has subscribers in every state but Hawaii, and internationally in England, Germany and Australia. Shows this year include five in Indiana and two each in Ohio and Illinois.
LAGC Editor Kate Goelzhauser is excited about the JCAMA show.
“All I know is to expect a lot of lawn and garden tractors. The response to the show has been overwhelming with people traveling from every different region to attend and bringing multiple loads of garden tractors.”
The magazine was founded in 2007 by publisher Brandon Pfeiffer of Mount Vernon, Ind., formerly of the LGT News, a publication of John Deere, which featured only that brand. Pfeiffer saw an interest in other brands and developed LAGC Magazine featuring all brands and models of vintage lawn and garden tractors, push mowers and attachments. Tractor pulls, consignment sale, parade,
entertainment, flea market, parts vendors, kids games and
women’s activities are highlights of the show.
Daily activities include a sawmill, threshing, corn shredding, baling, rock crushing, corn shelling, baker fan, feed grinding, horses, steam engines, gas engines and antique cars and trucks.
The schedule also includes: an antique tractor pull on Friday, June 18 at 6 p.m.; a consignment sale at 9 a.m., parade of power at 3:30 p.m. and garden tractor pull at 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 19; and church service at 8 a.m., tractor games at 9 a.m., micro-mini tractor pull at 10 a.m., and an antique tractor pull at 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 20.
The Johnson County Park is located just north of Camp Atterbury.
