Deficit spending of $11,000 per U.S. worker every year is insane
Dear Editor,
I believe our founding fathers had it figured out very well. They specified that Congressmen should serve two years and then go home; Senators six years and then go home.

The framers of our republic experienced kings and permanent government and determined they wanted no part of it.

The safest person to vote for is one with recent experience in working for a living - serve one term and then come home.
The longer they are in power, the less freedom we have.

The solution to our problems is not government-run health care, auto industry, banking or education. The less government does for the people the better and cheaper that government is. Deficit spending by the federal government of $11,000 per worker each year is insanity.

All I want government to do for me is to protect me from internal and external enemies, regulate the value of my currency, and build roads and not much else. I will then have enough money left to do all I want and to help a few other folks get what they want.
