Ohio auction features JD collectibles

WILLOWDELL, Ohio — A crowd of more than 600 people turned out for the Sept. 14 auction of Willowdell Sales, Inc., conducted by Coldwater Auction Service and led by Rick Uhlenhake, auctioneer.
The sale’s key items were a large John Deere sign which went for $3,200, a centennial JD plaque for $975 and a JD special tool kit for $3,200.

According to Coldwater, the special tools and shop tools all sold extremely well.

Buyers traveled to Ohio from six states, including Massachusetts, and the auctioneer sold with two rings for seven hours.
