Rodoc adds animal cab to trailer sales lineup

By VICKI JOHNSON
Ohio Correspondent

DELPHOS, Ohio — Equipment trailers, a new “animal cab” and its service department are the features of Rodoc Sales Service and Leasing in Delphos, Ohio.
“We handle three different brands of equipment trailers,” said Owner Roger Miller. “They all have their own unique features, but basically between them we have the ability to fit any equipment need – from lawnmowers to farm tractors or any hauling needs.”

One of the newest features is a hydraulic dovetail, he said.
“That’s what people have been asking me about for a long time and now two different companies are offering it,” he said.

For hauling livestock, Rodoc offers EBY trailers.

“We also offer what we call an animal cab,” Miller said. “It’s just a little animal box that fits in the back of a pickup truck that gives the ability to haul small animals without hooking onto a trailer.”

The “animal cab” weighs less than 200 pounds and can carry any small animal including exotic animals, pigs, sheep, calves, hunting dogs, turkeys, chickens and ducks. They can be built to customer specifications.

In addition to trailers, Rodoc has a 10-day service facility.
“We can service anything from small equipment up to semi tractors and trailers,” Miller said.

In addition to the trailers the company sells, Rodoc repairs other brands, including accidental damage for insurance claims and warranty work.
Rodoc Leasing Sales and Service is a family-owned and operated business. The leasing portion opened in 1974. In 1987, a full-service repair facility was added, and in 1997, Rodoc became a dealer for EBY and Timpte trailers.

The business is located just southwest of Delphos and north of the village of Landeck. For more information, call 800-562-0768 or 419-692-5881; e-mail contact @rodoc.com; or visit www.rodoc.com
