What activities does the chapter participate in?: FFA members participate in numerous judging contests such as, agronomy, dairy cattle & products, rural soils, public speaking, parliamentary procedure, general livestock judging, and equine management.

What is your biggest fundraiser?: The chapter also holds an annual fruit sale to raise funds for chapter activities and trips such as State FFA Convention and National FFA Convention.

What else would you like to tell us?: FFA members represent the chapter by exhibiting at the county fair and also complete numerous community service activities.

The chapter participates in FFA Week by hosting in-school activities that promote agriculture education and the FFA, and hosting a community breakfast. In the spring, the chapter hosts an Ag Awareness Day to educate elementary students about agriculture and safety. Students are taught proper animal safety and handling by observing and handling animals provided by FFA members, the local fire department and EMS also provide assistance by taking the students through a fire safety house that teaches them how to prevent fires and what to do if they ever find themselves in a fire-related situation. The chapter rounds out their year by hosting an annual recognition banquet, where FFA members are recognized for their efforts throughout the year and local community members and businesses are recognized for their contributions to the chapter.
