ILLINOIS
April 7: University of Illinois Extension’s Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs) workshop will take place at the Kankakee County Extension office in Bourbonnais, Ill. Topics will include produce food safety, post-harvest produce handling, water quality and testing, soil management, manure management and work health and hygiene. March 31-April 2: The Spring Dairy Expo will take place at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus, Ohio and include seven breed shows, five breed sales, a trade show, all-breed youth showmanship contest and much more. For details, visit www.springdairyexpo.com

April 7: Ohio State University will host the Produce Safety Education Program in Piketon, Ohio. The workshop, for growers big and small, looks at science-based ways to make fresh fruits and vegetables safer.
