|Farm Credit Services moves to new facility in Eaton, Ohio
LOUISVILLE, Ky. —Staff from the Eaton Farm Credit Services of Mid-America office moved into their new 3,800 square foot building last week. The new facility, at 312 Eaton Lewisburg Road, is located approximately one-half mile southeast of their former location.
“The new Eaton office is a continuation of a project that started in the late 1990s to update and upgrade all Farm Credit facilities across the four-state area of Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and Tennessee,” said Mike Westfall, vice president - financial services. “It made sense that Eaton was selected for the most recent upgrade. We were leasing a smaller facility, and business and volume in Eaton has grown over 30 percent in the last five years. We simply outgrew our space.”
The Eaton office serves more than 900 members in Butler, Hamilton, Montgomery, Preble and Warren counties. That represents loan volume of $130 million.
In addition to the current sales staff, the new building will also house appraisers and insurance specialists, bringing the total number of staff to 12.
The office recently received the “Excellence in Business” award from the Eaton-Preble County Chamber of Commerce, which annually recognizes business contributions and development within the community.
To celebrate the new building and location, the office is holding a Grand Opening on December 1 from 2-6 p.m. The Grand Opening will be open to all Farm Credit members and the general public.

Kubota Tractor Corp. achieves one million units sold
TORRANCE, Calif. — Kubota Tractor Corporation (KTC) has reached a retail milestone, announcing the sale of its one millionth Kubota unit sold in the United States. Gary Pittman, owner of a 1,200-acre farm near Dallas in Millsap, Texas, recently purchased a Kubota M125X, marking the one millionth Kubota unit sold.
Kubota’s model M125X was sold to Pittman by Kubota Dealer Ellis Topline Equipment in Weatherford, Texas.
“We’ve been selling Kubota products for 25 years, and we are excited to be the dealer who sold Kubota’s millionth unit,” said Steve Watson, president of Ellis Topline Equipment. “Gary Pittman has purchased multiple Kubota products from our store, and we’re pleased to see this unit sold to a previous Kubota owner.”
Pittman owns several Kubota products including a ZD21 mower, M9000 tractor, RTV900 utility vehicle, and his new purchase, the M125X.
“I purchase Kubota equipment because the products work well and are very efficient,” said Pittman. “I was delighted to hear that I had been the purchaser of Kubota’s one millionth unit.”
Kubota Tractor Corporation presented Pittman with a gift in recognition of this important milestone - a “Thanks a Million” travel award to one of 10 resorts or cruises, including round-trip airfare and a Kubota merchandise gift certificate.
“We’re very proud of our one millionth sale,” said Greg Embury, Kubota vice president of sales and marketing. “The sale of one million Kubotas since KTC’s beginnings in the U.S. in 1972 is the result of the strength of our outstanding dealer network combined with Kubota’s commitment to offer quality, high-performing, durable products that serve our customers well.”
