Oct. 20: Purdue University’s Indiana Beef Evaluation Program is holding its 70th bull sale in conjunction with the Springville Feeder Auction Assoc.’s Heifer and Cow Sale. The sale will start at 2 p.m. at the Springville Feeder Auction, 4426 State Route 54 West, Springville, Ind. Heifers and cows will be sold first and the bull sale will follow. Oct. 30: A public hearing has been set to review a petition for the establishment of an Indiana Sheep and Wool Market Development Program and Council that would promote consumer awareness and sales of sheep products at the Salem Public Library, 212 N. KENTUCKY

Oct. 30: University of Kentucky and U.S. Department of Agriculture specialists will discuss the drought and other timely topics during the 13th Kentucky Grazing Conference at the UK Research and Education Center in Princeton. Ky. Registration is the day of the conference. The registration fee is $15 and $5 for students.

Nov. 7-8: Kentucky Women in Agriculture will host their 13th annual conference at the Hilton Garden Inn in Louisville, Ky.
