Skinny Cooks Can't Be Trusted by Dave Kessler If you enjoy a chilled cake, here’s a recipe you’ll want to save for a number of reasons. It’s easy, since you’ll be using a yellow cake mix. And, the ingredients are not expensive. It also looks great and it has a refreshing taste and texture. This is a three-layer cake, for which you’ll need three round layer-cake pans that you have greased and floured. You bake the cake layers at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Let the cakes cool before you spread on the frosting. Be sure to include the juice of the mandarin oranges when you mix your cake batter so you’ll have a moist and flavorful cake.
