| 1965: 50 years ago James Doerstler and Rex Jarrett, Wayne County; Karen Jackson and Marilene Isaacs, Fayette County; and Tim McGuire, Randolph County, are all in a group of 66 4-H members leaving for a People-to-People trip to Europe. A truck belonging to the Muncie Egg & Poultry Co. was involved in a fiery three-vehicle crash. The truck was loaded with 54,000 eggs, and they discovered not one of the eggs was broken or cracked. Mr. Farmer: I have purchased the corn sheller from Leroy Rich. Operations are the same – 5 cents per bushel at the farm and 10 cents per bushel if trucked to a mill.
