April 20: Huntington University will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Ware Plant Science Production Facility at 3:45 p.m. at the Dowden Science Building, Huntington, Ind. Ag students will have hands-on learning and research opportunities in the area of plant and soil sciences, with the potential for aquaponics as well. April 29: The Master Gardener Assoc. Garden School 2017 will be 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Madison County 4-H Building, 512 E. 4th St., Alexandria, Ind. It is open to the public (ages 18 years and older). The $35 cost includes continental breakfast, lunch and refreshments. Register by April 21.
