March 8-March 29: The University of Illinois Extension will host a Small Farms Winter Webinar Series, featuring practical presentations on small farm enterprises and strategies every Thursday at noon. INDIANA

March 8: Farm families can learn how to ensure a successful ownership transition from one generation to the next in a workshop sponsored by the Purdue Extension Succession Planning Team. The workshop will be presented by attorneys and estate planning experts. Remaining sessions are:

KENTUCKY

March 8: The Novel Tall Fescue Ronovation Workshop will be from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Bluegrass Stockyards in Lexington, Ky. March 16: The Kentucky Agricultural Development Board and the Kentucky Agricultural Finance Corp. will have their monthly business meetings at 9 a.m. at the Christian County Cooperative Extension Office in Hopkinsville, Ky. March 10-11: Hueston Woods State Park in College Corner, Ohio will host its 52nd annual Maple Syrup Festival the weekends of March 3-4 and March 10-11 from noon to 4 p.m. A pancake breakfast, with locally made syrup, will be available at the park lodge on those days from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Visitors can go on maple syrup tours, hay rides and hikes. March 10-11: Hocking Hills State Park at the naturalist cabin at the Old Man’s Cave area in Logan, Ohio will have a maple syrup festival from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Naturalists will demonstrate methods of making maple syrup and maple candy. TENNESSEE

March 13-15: The University of Tennessee Extension will offer workshops across the state to teach farmers how to keep records for value-added enterprises.
