Nathan D. Johnson
Jan. 5, 1962 – Jan. 21, 2010

Pastor Nathan D. Johnson, 48, Noblesville, passed away Thursday, Jan. 21, 2010, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville following a brief illness.

He was born on Jan. 5, 1962, in Anderson, Ind., to Irvin and Pearl (Kuehlewind) Johnson. He received a bachelor’s degree from Spurgeon Baptist Bible College in Mulberry, Fla. Johnson was serving as pastor of Prairie Baptist Church in rural Noblesville and also served at Griffith Baptist Church in Griffith. He was associated with Sports World Ministries for several years.

(Prior to his passing, Johnson submitted an article on Prairie Baptist Chuch to Farm World newspaper, which was printed in last week’s issue.)

He is survived by his wife, Anita (Cavaletto) Johnson; two daughters, Abigail Grace and Lydia Joy both at home; his parents, Irvin F. and Pearl Johnson of New Port Richey, Fla.; two sisters, Ruth (husband, James) Pletcher of New Palestine, and Rebecca (husband, Richard) Vannatta of Anderson; and his mother-in-law, Mary Cavaletto of Indianapolis.

He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Frank Cavaletto.
Funeral service was held on Jan. 25 at Prairie Baptist Church in rural Noblesville with Pastor Michael Poole officiating.
