The deadline is fast approaching for sponsorship of the 2015 Great Lakes Crop Summit (GLCS). Companies that wish to sponsor the event should sign up by Oct. 15 to take full advantage of opportunities.

The GLCS will be at the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort in Mt. Pleasant, Mich., Jan. 28-29, 2015, and it is the only conference in Michigan that focuses directly on the farmer. Sponsoring or exhibiting at the summit is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to network face-to-face with Michigan’s leading corn, soybean and wheat growers.

"The Great Lakes Crop Summit is unique because it’s the only conference that brings together the state’s corn, soybean and wheat growers for one event," said Jim Zook, executive director of the Corn Marketing Program of Michigan. "This is an invaluable opportunity for companies to reach farmers directly and promote their business. We’re anticipating another great year, and it promises to be a ‘can’t-miss’ event for Michigan’s farmers."

This year’s event features outstanding speakers and topics including financial outlooks with nationally acclaimed Dr. Mike Boehlje and the impact of climate on agriculture with The Weather Whisperer, Evelyn Browning-Garriss.

The first-ever GLCS was last year and was an overwhelming success, attracting more than 450 attendees.

This year, the event has been moved to a bigger venue to accommodate anticipated attendance.

Sponsorship and exhibitor details are available online at www.GreatLakesCropSummit.com
