Garrison to speak at Indiana FFA dinner
By MEGAN KUHN
Assistant Editor

TRAFALGAR, Ind. — The Indiana FFA is hosting a dinner March 16 at Jonathan Byrd’s Cafeteria, Greenwood, Ind., featuring WIBC radio personality Greg Garrison as the keynote speaker.

While the evening is considered a benefit dinner, there is no charge to attend and no financial commitments are required, according to Indiana FFA officials. The evening is being sponsored by Jonathan Byrd’s Cafeteria, Lincoln Bank and S2P Graphics.

“The purpose of the event is to allow people to become familiar with the programs FFA offers today and to generate financial resources for FFA,” said Brian Buchanan, executive director of the Indiana FFA Foundation. “However, no one will be required to commit anything (financially). We want people to come and enjoy the evening with us.”

The evening starts at 5:45 p.m. with registration at Jonathan Byrd’s Banquet Hall, located off of Exit 99 on I-65 in Greenwood. Those attending have time to network with the area’s business leaders until the start of dinner at 6:30 p.m. After dinner starts, Indiana FFA representatives will speak about some of the programs they offer, and Garrison will deliver his keynote address.

Buchanan said the evening will showcase Indiana FFA - its members, its mission and its programs.

While there is no cost to attend, Buchanan said that they are asking people to RSVP for the event at ffadinner@yahoo.com or call 317-878-4178.
