As Executive in Residence, Rosenberg will provide a valuable real-world industry perspective to the development of undergraduate and graduate programs that will serve Kentucky’s horse industry, facilitate the development of strong internship and employment opportunities for students and provide input to other equine-related programs within the College of Agriculture.

Rosenberg has served as president and chief operating officer of Three Chimneys Farm since 2001. Before that he was general manager of Three Chimneys for 23 years. Prior to his work with Three Chimneys, Rosenberg worked as a broodmare manager at Calumet Farm and with Clovelly and Glade Valley farms.

The UK Equine Initiative represents a partnership between the UK College of Agriculture and the horse industry. It was established through efforts of College of Agriculture faculty and administrators, the Gluck Equine Research Foundation, the Kentucky Thoroughbred Association/Kentucky Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders and many other important industry partners.

The Andersons names two vice presidents in grain
MAUMEE, Ohio — The Andersons, Inc. recently named Neill C. McKinstray as vice president & general manager for ethanol, within the Grain Division, and Joseph (Joe) W. Needham as vice president, grain division, both within the company’s Agriculture Group.

McKinstray has been with The Andersons since 1976. During his career he has served as the Grain Division’s Transportation and Market Development Manager, Marketing and Sales Manager and Purchasing Manager. He began his career at the Champaign, Ill., grain operations facility as a group trainee, eventually serving as the General Manager of the Delphi, Ind., facility for three years.

Needham is a 22-year Andersons’ veteran who began his career at the Delphi, Ind., facility as a grain buyer. Since that time, he also has served as a Purchasing Manager and most recently as the General Manager for both the Delphi and Clymers, Ind., facilities.
